Introduction : Blotting 이라는 단어는 biological sample을 gel에서 membrane로 옮겨 membrane 표면에서 biological sample을 검출하는 것을 의미한다. 우선, 여러 단백질들을 SDS-PAGE에 크기대로 분리를 한 다음 membrane에 옮긴다. 이 때 membrane 표면에 항체가 비특이적으로 붙는 것을 방지하기 위해 blocking 과정을 거친다.
